Once again, I admire Lynne's energy and enthusiasm to find the truth.  
Many on this list will remember some 6 years ago at the LA ASCAP 
meeting I asked why my letter to Lofomento, including several of the 
questions Mark has put forward, had not been answered.  Lofromento's 
secretary, having obvioulsy discussed with Roger Greenaway who I was, 
(not that I'm anybody!) came scuttling round to where I was seated and 
assured me the letter would be answered that very week.  As I said, 
that was 6 years ago and I'm still waiting.  So, good luck, Lynne.  
Maybe your feminine charms will win the day.  From what I have heard, 
Managers aren't perceived by ASCAP to be the softees that Composers 
are.  So, go get 'em, girl!
