No matter where Greg operates at ASCAP his knowledge of the system
would indicate a very low level of awareness at ASCAP.........
or..... is it just the usual fob off?
If his answer is that of a paid employee who is supposed to
'know'..... I suggest he be fired.
If nothing else, certainly he should be made to explain why his
answer was as printed....... IF, this is really what Greg
said......... Lynne, was your answer a cut n paste of his email or
did he answer via telephone?
If the phone... here's a tip.
Don't EVER contact a PRO by phone again, most will deny
everything............ in all fairness I have found staff who are not
involved in distribution to be overly helpful.
As an ex CEO of PRS said many years ago... ASCAP/BMI/SESAC.... all
smoke n mirrors....... sadly PRS is turning out to be the same thing ;-(
