[Fmpro] basic question

Precisely my point. A big nasty lawsuit could
have a ripple effect through the industry that
could in fact bring about permanent changes in
the way these PRO's operate and the transparency
of the process. Maybe a class-action suit. It
 sounds overdue.

 Fundamental to American constitutional
government is the protection of private property
and property rights. If composers are getting
screwed out of what is due them they have the
right to seek redress of their grievances in the
judiciary, and the judiciary has an obligation
 to take the matter seriously.
