At far as "adjustment fund" goes, after I raised hell with them showing
"no surveyed performances" of a jazz CD I released four years ago for
which I had PROOF of many plays ( from actual station playlists and
JazzWeek airplay charts ) , I finally got them to admit to the fact
that they "didnt include NPR stations in their surveys" ( which as you
may know is the only place where jazz programming exists anymore aside
from satellite radio )
They suggested I apply for a "special award" . . . which resulted in a
big $500 from ASCAP
I'm still trembling with gratitude from thier overwhelming largessse

Good question, Les. If memory serves, I was told that there was some
sort
of "adjustment fund" set aside for situations like this. But where that
comes from, who knows.

With BMI, if you can "prove" that works of yours were performed but
not
picked up and paid by BMI, they will issue you an adjustment payment.
Where does the money come from?
