Right, so which section of the membership is getting their best interests
served in that scenario?

When I asked ASCAP about why they aren't using
Mediaguide to track my TV performances, their response
was that even if they identified one of my cues on TV,
they wouldn't know it's usage-type (and I presume
duration). So, Cuesheets would still be necessary to
indicate this information.

They said the current system is working relatively
well (compared to matching up information from a
combination Fingerprint/Cuesheet system), so they
didn't think it would be in the best interest of the
membership to change.
