[Fmpro] culture war

The understanding, processing and synthesis of
facts and information is basically what
participants of the list are attempting. I
believe there is an abundance of good will on
the board, making acrimony a little surprising.
Hence my speculation, a bit of which I think is
allowable as long as it is understood as such.

Well then don't speculate, know your facts.

I was brought into a problem that was not mine; I had no problems before this chat, I was asked to find answers, I phoned ASCAP and from two different sources, in which I have received the same answers, "you all know the answers, they are in the website, go to the ASCAP website." One ASCAP member told me that a formula was established by the Justice Department and approved by the Government in 1950. It was the year 2000 that ASCAP wanted a change....

My words are....In order for ASCAP to change, probably for the best interest of their customers, they have to follow guidelines, laws, regulation and rules...

Somehow we have a collision of cultures here. I speculate Lynne has possibly an Eastern European background and is still acclimating to a different mentality and language. Just speculation on my part, I have no facts not in evidence.
