[Mark Northam]

Compared to what they would have had to pay her as an artist over time for
that "sample" of her voice (far shorter samples are licensed and paid huge
$$$ for today), they got a huge bargain!

I suspect, given the popularity of the song and the income stream, she would
have opted for the $$$ over the "fabulous" silver disk...
