That's what's already happened at Stillstream.com - they're only
playing Creative Commons licensed music now.

We've been having this same discussion on the Synthsights list:

The thread "Internet radio in peril, with a July deadline" starting 
around May 1st or so, might be of interest, which sorta leads into 
another discussion "US laws against selling used CDs!", which eventually 
get around to discussing internet radio again.

There is also some interesting/different/weird views of ASCAP and BMI 
over there...
