[Fmpro] CN=Shawn LeMone/O=ASCAP is out of the office.

Is it possible that someone sent shawn lemone an email with the "reply to"
as fmpro at nxport.com? Then all you have to do is send a mail to them and it
would bounce back to the list when out of office response is up...

Also possible that email is only checked periodically after receiving too
much spam so once a month they have an intern dig through it?

Also possible that this person might know the FMN list and would not wish to
get slammed by the ornery and sometimes smarmy crowd that we are but wishes
to keep track of issues that are brought up

Otherwise yea not a great way to represent his/her artists/constituants :p

I always believe / trust in this list. But I did NOT want to think that
someone working at ASCAP could be a part of this group, see the emotions,
the discussion, debate, and more than anything else, the blatant
misleading of Ms Conte, and remain quiet. Neither defending ASCAP or even
telling us all to grow up and get a real job. Just....silence. It makes
me want to step on his throat. It makes me sick. It is SO obvious that
the system is unfair (I know, I know....if you want to play, you play by
their rules), but to not even acknowledge there is even an issue....it's
disgusting. Can there be more of an impenetrable castle that we lowly
serfs can only gaze at and wonder what happens behind the walls? It's
like they want to be the monolith and we the monkeys of 2001. Democracy
has no sway here. Can ASCAP *be* any less American? Yes, capitalism is
very American, but this is ridiculous.
