[Fmpro] How long should I wait for Pump Audio?

I have a question I hope some of you can help me out with. I'm pretty
new at working with this side of the music business.
Last year I submitted an instrumental piece of mine to Pump Audio.
This past January, I got an email from them saying that the piece had
been accepted into the catalog and would "most likely" be added to
the next version of their PumpBox. But, I have yet to hear yes or no
either way.
I know that these things can take a long time -- add to that the
issues Pump Audio has been dealing with getting bought by Getty
Images. But here's the thing. My composition is good and there is a
UK publisher that may want it. My Pump Audio contract is non-
exclusive, and can be cancelled by me at any time, which I'll do in
an instant if I think that they won't do anything with this piece.
But, I'd hate to break the contract prematurely if the PumpBox thing
might go through.
So, I'm asking for your advice. First of all, is it normal to take 10
or 11 months for them to make a decision about a song for their
PumpBox? Secondly, is an instrumental piece on PumpBox really worth
it? Can instrumental pieces on PumpBox make a decent amount of money?
Thanks in advance for your advice,
Kevin
