Well. it seems that I have the floor, as it were...
If you can wade through his graduate thesis, Will Page

actually has something to say.  You will have to tread carefully  
through five pages of sophomoric cow patties -- in the form of  
redundant tables and explanations -- until the author actually gets  
to the point, which is "The Economics of ‘Bundling’   Typical of  
someone who has a narrow pedagogic perspective of the field of music  
production, and absolutely no practical experience.

Read on!  Will Page expounds, with pictures and arrows and a  
paragraph on the back of each one explaining what each one is.  Will  
Page will someday become a great orator of Economics.  Perhaps a  
Presidential Advisor.  Perhaps my worst nightmare.  I wish him all  
the best.

Meanwhile, music pioneer and visionary Trent Reznor, and others are  
bailing on the whole Major Label thing like rats leaving a sinking  
ship.  This is what is happening, as opposed to economic theory.  Get  
with it.
