Just a while back, all WGA writers went on strike in order to get the rights that are truthfully theirs. Much Buzz is being generated and the industry is beginning to feel the shake as well as the importance of their craft, at last. I foresee it is just a matter of time for a victory or if anything else , a settlement for the better. All those writers are making individual sacrifices to win their cause. On my book that is extremely admirable. And altogether I would like to send a very loud shout to my all my fellow composers to not only support their group but in the most intense way, learn from them. In a world where we composers are increasingly pushed to surrender all our copyrights for very little or nothing and have our royalties pushed down by performing rights organizations to a small fraction of what songwriter royalties are, it is clearly time for us to start waking up and telling greedy production companies that enough is enough. Call your local union. Support all the unions, either you are union or not. Maybe one day, just like the writers, we may have one of our own.

There is a small support graphic with the direct link to their support group right on my home page

.
For those of you who aren't afraid, feel free to copy both the graphic and link and post it on your own site.

Best,
