Les,
I believe the WGA point is Œnew media¹ and that would include downloads.
However, their argument is much more towards the streaming of shows
on sites like abc.go.com ­ where a show is viewed with limited control
and there is imbedded commercials. The WGA would like a percentage
of that ad revenue.

They also, as you said, would like a larger share of home video sales, DVD.
Right now they receive approx 5 cents for every $20.
