[Fmpro] My ASCAP quarterly statement just showed up!!!!

Oooo!!! My ASCAP statement showed up today!

With trembling hands I open the thing up. An indie film I scored about 
two years ago won some awards last year, another indie film got 
re-released - maybe there's some Christmas money in there!

Let's see ...

What's this? There's an "International Performance Statement" in there! 
I've got money from Israel!

What it for? Let's see - "FANTASY". Doesn't say what category (Radio, 
Television, Film). What the heck is this? I've never done anything 
called "Fantasy". I've no idea what this is!!

Oh well - guess I got somebody else's money. Sucks for them!!!

How much? OMG!!!! A whopping $3.32! Guess it didn't have any lyrics, huh?

Oh well, I can buy a drink at the Zippy Mart. Oh wait - ASCAP kept it 
all to apply against my dues!

I get $0.00.

Gotta love the letter that came with the statement:

"I am pleased to report that this distribution is the largest November 
distribution in ASCAP history. It surpasses last year's November 
distribution by 6.8% ...blah, blah, blah...."

Well, to all you folks that got all that money, enjoy your Christmas 
bonus!!!! I'll be thinking about you while I'm trying to figure out how 
to get paid for stuff I've got on the web, stuff on DVD, stuff being 
downloaded or streamed ...
