ASCAP, one wonders [but they are all the same]

While I do understand the need for promotion of any business, I'm at
a loss to fully comprehend the PRO hype given the follow up.

Mr Northam, Mr Corber and myself were at an event in LA where an
ASCAP staffer, who claimed to be a lawyer, STATED 'When your music
is broadcast, you will be paid'............ he is now a VP.
I guess an increase in salary, benefits, vacation.

I'm still not getting paid.

Which part of the puzzle did I miss or is it all a monkey puzzle
tree ;-) ?
