I'm going to presume that your release of energy is at best similar  
to a fart on a windy day.

Legal grounds, I don't think I know, but so far I still don't know  
what PA sold.

I have to presume they sold the derivative rights to the product they  
'managed'.

If so, then 'you' as the copyright holder had no rights [to object or  
be paid]...........  my guess is they either new this when they had  
you sign the deal [and I'm sure they did since most businesses are  
started in order to be sold] or they just assumed none of you guys  
would do anything... which appears to be the case.
