My Dear Kerry,

No one has to read my posts, just ignore them.
However, unlike many I have met with the ASCAP high command and have
a vivid recollection of what it is at least the top guy wants to do
but has never done any of it.
I wonder why?

Many years ago along with others I went to the DOJ with facts and
figures which were taken very seriously, as were we all, but we were
all ignored and in fact the sad part was 'we' were all lied to.

Regarding PA and Getty, you are quite correct I don't have a clue as
to what happened and so far I haven't seen anything on this list
which actually indicates what has been sold.
Pete has offered a few lines, but that's it, unless you proved the
point and the email didn't get to me yet.

If you are dying to know what they say I must conclude you don't know
any more about the deal than I do.
Would I believe them......... why not if it is correct.

I've been in this game long enough to know that just about everything
is based on business folks being 'economical with the truth'.
As Chris Alpair pointed out, I'm just a tad jaded, yep, I've lost a
few mil because of suits so I think I'm entitled, but I think my role
is simply an attempt to point out things when they don't seem to jive
with me.

I don't care of I'm wrong, I don't care what PRO staff think of
me.... believe me, I can hold my head up higher than most of
them........ if I'm wrong and someone out there can prove so, then we
have all won.

All I wanted to know was what it was Getty actually purchased from
each composer, if anything, or did they buy 'hot air' from PA.

I just hope the composers aligned with PA know what happened, agreed
with what happened and will be paid in future.

L
