Kerry,
Not anymore. I know MTV used to pay, cause I used to
get paid by them. But then they flat out refused to
pay anything upfront and told me to collect the
backend from ASCAP. I think they saw that Bunim Murray
was getting free music for Real World/Road Rules. So,
they followed.
I've heard several big Libraries confirm the same
thing. Anyone hear get MTV to pay a sync/master
license in the past two years?
