Fair enough - I understand your viewpoint on this and accept your criticism
and believe we are at the point of "agreeing to disagree" on this particular
ad. FYI Film Music Weekly, our news publication, is a separate entity from
the Film Music Network, the professional trade organization. Whereas I
personally on this list and elsewhere take a view of advocating things,
sometimes rather strongly, our news publication wouldn't be appropriate for
that. And as I mentioned before, over 50% of the readers of Film Music
Weekly are not composers. It's one thing to decline advertising on moral
grounds if something immoral is being advertised, but I don't think music
libraries who offer no sync fee music for broadcast usages fall into that
category.

While this kind of thing is OK for discussion boards, the legal risk of
publishing that kind of information without seeing contracts, etc. -
especially if the library doesn't want it disclosed - would be too great.
The best we could probably do is to publish "Would Not Disclose" under the
business model types for those libraries who would not discuss it.

Best,
