Great comments Fabio!

This is what I mean, its non-union, not bad, bad musicians or bad
recordings, just its non-union

I also agree with you completely! The only difference is that with the
orchestras it is not American policy or WTO policy that manipulates the
economies of those countries and its not American companies exploiting them.
So you are 100% correct to question that. But since I am not into textiles
or shoes but instead music I will speak up about issues in music :)

I totally agree also, everything I have heard from orchestras in czec,
armenia, croatia, etc sound wonderful and in no way inferior. They DO
deserve to get paid more then $20/hour tho!!! I still am upset that the film
industry, most likely still in aftermath of dealing with the digital
download age and loss in sales from it, chooses to let scoring become of
less and less import. Meaning less money for using American union paid
musicians, less money for composers at all. I saw the worst film I have seen
in years, the Wesley Snipes film "The Contractor" and while they had money
for a name actor, excellent hollywood DP and crew, they used really bad
electronica loop junk instead of having a score. Same thing in Denzel
Washingtons déjà vu, which I don’t think even credited a composer. SAD TIMES
ARE HERE, how do we fix them?

orchestra. Saying or > meaning with other words that all european orchestras
are bad I think is really not fair.

I never had bad experience with them! I am sure they are quality people
trying to make a living like everyone else. My statement was just a general
statement about the industry, pointing out the wrongness here, which there
is great wrongness. Its not the company or their musicians, they are just
filling the gap. The problem lies with the film industry, the RIAA, and all
the tendrils connected with the quagmire of our current spiral down in
general

Best wishes to you Fabio
