Chris et al.,

Chris, I will say you are wrong -- on a
number oflevels, and its not the first time you
have shown your ignorance. First why would you
denigrate foreign musicians by calling them
scabs? Your characterization of that situation
is highly objectionable to me, and I'm an
American, albeit one who has known and worked
with a lot of Eastern Europeans, both before and
after 1990. They are musicians, surely
possessing as much dignity and ability as most
of the people you know. They are not answerable
to the corrupt American socialist unions. Good
for them. If you have a beef it is with
American producers. And why shouldn't producers
of any stripe het the best deal they can?

And by the way Chris, what kind of car do you
drive? Where was half the stuff in your house
made? How many of your toys are made in China,
Taiwan, Japan etc. etc. etc. We live in a
global economy. Unless you are a socialist you
must have some understanding of how markets
work. If you want to get mad at someone why not
go after those who refuse to let American
 musicians be more competitive. Eastern
Europeans, after living through years of
miserable communist tyranny are getting a little
work. You would begrudge them that
 opportunity? Shame on you.
