I would like to see more standard and "livable" fee structure and contracts.
I think SAG does a tremendous job with this by providing differing scales
for differing jobs (budgets) and big names can still make their own deals
once they rise above the rank-and-file actor.

OK If we were somehow able to organize and get together and form a
protective union for score composers, what are the 2 or 3 most important
things to you that this union should do (or not do). This is just a creative
exercise so don't get too bogged down in heavy response, unless you just
want to go there ;)
List the 2 or 3 things below and number them please like:
1. It should work closely with the PROs and bring about positive change
on all issues, especially .20:1 payout issues
2. It should offer many member benefits like group insurance and a
pension fund
3. It should have a team of lawyers available to me at no charge to
dispute on my behalf when my union contracts have problems
You can be either as broad as I have been or you can go directly to a very
specific issue you feel that should be the focus.
Chris
