Hi Todd,
A Composer's Forum member recently posted about creating a new orchestral
template. He lists all the sounds he uses and 'verbs and has a track to
hear the results:

Hope this helps,
Chris

Subject: SPAM -> [Fmpro] Best string sounds/combinations?
Ladies and Gents,
If I may interrupt, would anyone care to share their secret weapons
for string sounds, and mixing tools? I have the Philharmonik plug-in,
which is Miroslav, and the Vienna Special Instruments plug-in.
Sometimes I'm happy with my sound, and sometimes not, which I guess
is admitting that I'm flying by the seat of my pants. I've got
Altiverb, and I'm still experimenting with which "space" to start with.
