Streaming is broadcasting. Downloads are delivered product, like selling
a DVD or VHS tape. Streams can be captured in some cases with software
and saved as a download, but that is not the intent of the broadcaster,
any more than broadcasters intend for anyone to tape their shows.
In technical reality, there isn't much difference except for the
playback mechanism for a stream is usually not designed to save the
stream to a file.
