Les, I often follow your questions here. If I had answers to them, I
would give them. I only deal with my PRO sporadically for the moment,
but have a hit-list of pointy questions to put to them at the next
meeting thanks to you.
But I've no specific news about the EU and PROs apart from what I said.
I'll keep an ear open.
Along with the ongoing issues aired here, I've discovered a brand new
one - albeit small potatoes for the moment. The lyric sites are
currently being sent cease-and-desist letters as America's publishers
have started licensing lyrics to Yahoo and others. So far so good. But I
can find no mention of how lyricists are supposed to be paid for this
extra income. There is simply no provision for that in any contract for
procedure that I have seen. Does this not sound familiar?
