What if you lost your phone, or switched wireless providers?  Best case you
may have to re-enter in all your authorization codes for all of your music.
Worst case, you would have to repurchase all of your music.

And see my other point about sharing.  Most people purchase music to share
it.  Think back to the days of making mix tapes for your friends as a
teenager.

Blanket license administered by the PRO's.  By the way, there's no reason we
can't do both (DRM and blanket-license), but my prediction is that
copy-protected music will never succeed.  There's just no demand for it.
