Hello All,

My apologies for going round and round on this thing regarding what to buy
for my cost effective home studio; I bought the MBox then chickened out
because the Vienna Symphonic Library wouldn't work with it. I gave the Mbox
back and I bought the Steinberg Cubase 4 system which works great with the
VSL. But after reading a bunch of nightmare reports on all kinds of strange
problems with it, in combination with the fact that it's discontinued, it
made me think twice. So I returned that too. There's also the third
possibility of simply getting the Cubase 4 DAW and trying to find a quality
USB interface but even the basic Tascam is overkill with 16 inputs designed
mainly for live recording of bands - I'm orchestrating, line by line by
myself. Beside, isn't th standard of the industry Pro Tools?

After further reading the MBox just seems like the ticket which means, no
VSL :-( Oh well, it's not the end of the world.  Remember though my friends;
I have someone who is willing to foot the bill for a premium DAW or VST.
$1100 bucks is $1100 bucks so I have some options, but Grasshopper wants to
choose wisely and the people of this are my source of wisdom.

So here we go - Using the MBox which has Pro Tools LE: which premium VST
with a full complement a quality symphonic tones and other perks would you
suggest?

Sorry for beating a dead horse but it's not every day I have such a generous
offer made and at the same time I've been trying to get a job for six months
- that's a long time to be unemployed (I hate to even admit it). So, I must
choose wisely. Please steer me in the right direction and I'll read up on
the products. I haven't found many reviews on the Miroslav but I'm under
the impression its pretty good - but honestly, I've never heard anything tha
compares to the VSL - I guess I just need to get over it.

Thank everyone-

Looking forward to hearing back.
