[Fmpro] ASCAP bashing

Mark:

You presented my position better than I could in the subsequent email  
which discusses songs vs instrumental music. Like I said, I've lost  
jobs because I'm not ASCAP/BMI/SESAC/etc. But prefer a direct  
contract without a middleman to take a cut without doing any work.  
Now If I was an extremely popular composer and people were chomping  
to get my stuff, I would probably join BMI..
