OK I started thinking that it will be very easy in a barrage of email
to lose sight of all the issues and peoples suggestions. So I posted
the initial email with Mark's opening suggestions for the bill of
rights on the Composer's Forum. Feel free to continue this discussion
on this list of course, or post directly on the Composer's Forum. I
will try and keep updated suggestions from the FMPRO list to the
thread at the Composer's Forum

-=- PLEASE -=-

-=- PRETTY PLEASE -=-

Don't just ignore this. Its a chance for you to make a difference for
your own future and the future of our art. Yes other petitions in the
UK havent changed the world yet. But this is the perfect timing to do
one with ASCAP having just released their really great bill of rights.
All it takes is for enough people to become involved just a little bit
and we can create change.

So talk about these 12 rights and any changes or additions you feel
should be included and when we have a solid compilation we can vote on
them. Then I will create a digital petition and we can be heard
