[Fmpro] Crash

Did you do occasional maintenance on your computer? A similar unrecoverable
crash happened to a friend of mine who was working constantly with audio
files and never took time to clean up and optimize his drive. Was the
processor working more slowly in the last few days? A complete crash of
that type with no warning is pretty rare. The other thing is - was your
computer on a surge-protected circuit or strip? A sudden surge might also
cause this kind of destruction.
Perhaps other more computer savvy people on the list can be more
enlightening. The only other choice is to contact Apple immediately, if not
sooner and get their input.
The moral of this one is - BACK EVERYTHING UP! And do your maintenance.
Computers are not magical. Yes, they have few mechanical parts but they are
still prone to several types of malfunction. They don't like heat and they
don't like massive amounts of processing without routine optimization.
Best of luck Marinho. If and when you find out what caused it let us OSX
users know. You've made this particular OSX user nervous. What version were
you working on and what model Mac?
