[Fmpro] Selling CD's or music on iTunes, etc.

CDBaby.com would be the way to go to get your music
distributed. They'll get it on iTunes and other
download services, and they'll handle your CD ordering
and shipments.

They also have HostBaby. Which isn't the cheapest way
to go, but it includes everything you'll need. Myspace
is a great place to start, but they'll cancel your
account at the drop of a hat, so don't put your
myspace address on your cd. Eventually, you'll want to
have your own site to promote.

Another tip is to sign up for iTunes Affiliate
program. Make your links to your music through that
and you'll get an extra 5% on sales. You can click on
the "buy" button on my iTunes and fill out your credit
card info if you want to see how it works. :-)

Good luck,
