Hi Todd, I think that as long as you just want tu promote your music,
community sites like MySpace are far enough sufficient. They allow you to
upload your music, often have a mp3 player included and what is more, let
you have your page linked to others' pages, which can be interesting, in
terms of promotion inside a network.
It's a free, complete and quick solution. A personal site may look better,
and may be more customized, but there you need money or at least, time (to
learn how to make it). If you prefer to build your own site, open solutions
as www.spip.net can offer you a good intuitve interface.
