I use VSL Special Edition/Appassionata Strings with Logic 8.  It's a huge
work flow improvement over anything else I've seen out there (still haven't
seen the PLAY edition of EWQLSO, though).  You can switch between
articulations with any CC controller, key-switching, or "playing speed".
Having all the articulations you need available from one track is a big
improvement.  I recommend you view the online video tutorial from VLS's
website showing VSL Special Edition with Logic.  I wish Logic had true
stereo panners, though.
