Sadly Gael what you are experiencing is the back end of a 45+ year  
career where no matter what...... I lose money, the salaried folk don't.

KNow..... i the biz was honest, would I have to bother with anything?

"Cause publishers may own the publishing for songs written by any  
number of writers with various PROs, and most PROs require that the  
percentage of the song their writer has composed be represented by  
that writer's PRO.

Where did you get this.......... simply not so.
