As one of the UK's greatest ever session drummers.... Clem Cattini  
used to say..... [re fiddle players on a session].... "can I have the  
Gipsy's a bit earlier* in the cans [headphones]'.

Funny thing was.... after the LSO's introduction to 'hooligan  
music'......... I was on a Tommy date...........  they 'got it' and  
soon found  keeping time meant earning $$' ;-)
