It would be funny James if it were not for the realization so many
PRO members simply will not and refuse to see the light of day.
I recall a conversation with a FMPro lister who is a PRS member.
The utter joy of getting one's first PRS cheque [UK spelling since
PRS is in the UK], then the heady elation with income from the
USA...... 'someone over there likes my music'.
Then as the decades pass and one realizes maybe that £100 should have
been perhaps £10,000 bites deep in to the psyche.
Then as more time passes, one gets a little older and sees
unaccounted for 'shifts' in money, millions of dollars [SAF], the
mind boggles.
Fortunately mirth takes over at the absolute hypocrisy of the entire
entertainment industry distribution machine and a good laugh takes
some of the pain away.... yes, thank you Vic.
