ASCAP changes the characterization of cues (like from feature to  b.g.) and 
does so without notice before or after (unless you file a protest or  sue it).  
Actually "weak of accuracy" is more appropriate.
 
Sometimes your music has no money attributable to it because it  didn't show 
up in their survey so as far as ASCAP is concerned, it was never  really 
publicly performed.
 
Not only is the writer being hoodwinked, so is the publisher of  that music.
