The past always has the advantage because we block out
the mediocre and horrid. Anybody who thinks film music
was better 30 years ago has surely erased Sgt. Peppers
with the Bee Gees from their memory.

I agree Nelson Riddle was great. Other's might
disagree. There is always personal taste.
