But if you read the relevant documents you know that the member  only grants 
the PRO a non-exclusive license.  If you understand what that  means you don't 
need an answer from a pro midlevel exec.
 
The only thing I recall is that if a pro grants a license to a  user, the 
member whose music is then performed cannot sue the user for  infringement.  This 
was an issue in a lawsuit I litigated for a  composer.
 
the worst source of much information on how pros work are the pros  
themselves.
 
pros don't want to see DL happening so aren't going to tell you the  truth 
about DL.
