Hi everyone,

i know this is not the right forum but i know a few of you are Finale
power-users. I haven't used Finale since 2002. Now i would need to
use it and my last version is Finale 2000. I tried to install it on
my G5 running OSX yesterday and the installer was looking for an OS9
classic partition...

I know we can't expect such an old version to work 8 years later, it
says on the disk OS7.1 and higher ; ) But speaking with a
professional copyist friend yesterday about upgrading to Finale 2008
he told me to forget it, all the professional copy houses in L.A. and
NY where still using 2000. I told him the upgrade was 108$ he told me
to buy myself a few good bottles of wine instead... ; )

Finally my question, if these people are still using Finale 2000 how
did they get it installed on newer machines? My friend can't help me
he's a PC guy...

Do you think that if Bernard Herrmann had finale, he would have composed a
better "Psycho," "Citizen Kane," "Day the Earth Stood Still," "7th Voyage of
Sinbad?" Not quicker, better?

Talent comes from within.
