One of the very first films I ever did - for free - "Killer" - cheap "B
minus" horror film shot in Super 8 and completed for under $7,500. Score
was an "evil Tangerine Dream on drugs" kinda thing that I'm kinda
embarassed to claim at this point. But, over the last 10+ years, I've
made more than the entire production budget as my royalties slowly
trickled in. What a rush.

Director/Producer (same guy) got a distribution deal. A *bad* one. I
don't think the poor guy ever made his $7,500 back.

Though I can't recall the entire thing in my head, Francis Poulenc -
"Dialogues des Carmélites" gives me the freaking chills just to think
about it. That thing with the chorus and guillotine towards the end -
"CLUNK!!" - and a voice drops out of the chorus. Goose bumps!
