I couldn't agree more.  For my first real experience with opera I was I 
taken to the NY Metropolitan Opera to see Turandot.  Huge production with 
giant cast and symphony orchestra complete with the translation on a small 
screen on the back of each seat.  Truly awesome, and the music of Puccini 
is spectacular.  He packed so much  emotion into every sylable.  He is a 
great study in writing music that brings out the best in a story.
