[Fmpro] Working outside L.A./ relocating to Tampa Bay, Florida

I live between LA and San Fran. on the coast of California. I miss a
lot of work I would normally have in LA. The biggest problem is
production meetings and meetings with producers/directors. In my
experience, they call and slot you into a time. If you can't make it,
you're out as a candidate. If you're late, forget it. This, of
course, doesn't apply if they seek you out but if you are pitching
it's a lot harder. I tried to postpone a meeting because my son had
to get a leukemia treatment. They simply axed me from the prospects.
