Even living in the L.A. area, it can take a while to get established
and get work. It has taken me the three years I have lived here to
get any things going. I have been very aggressive putting myself out
there. The only thing I can say about L.A. (as apposed to my old
stomping grounds NYC) is that it is a very relationship/face to
face/schmooz-a-holic type place. You have to really go to the
conferences, BBQ's, meetups, Network breakfasts to get any amount of
movement . I have done that enough though every time I do it, I get
work.
