However, after spending a few weeks (at the end of 1&1/2 years of 
recording / engineering work) pitch and time correcting massive 
multitracked background vocals of mediocre (but good looking) singers in 
Melodyne, one note at a time for hours and days on end, I quite my full 
time job as a sound engineer / audio tech for a rich songwriter went 
back to work for Corporate America - albeit in the Music Technology 
industry.

None of the other products such as "AutoTune" and others  were up to the 
task, Melodyne is definitely THE tool, if you have the time!
