No, I would have used amateurs found on Craiglist.  I would have done a lot
of overdubbing in a home studio.  I would have featured a lot of soloists.
I would have used a lot of Autotune.  I would have kept the music dead
simple and I would set expectations with the filmmakers that the end result
wouldn't sound like a score with a $200k+ budget.

If the film was *really good*, I would have applied for a grant to pay
myself and some pro musicians.
