Thanks, Chris - should be very enlightening. If Scripps has a music
publishing company (one would assume so as they retain copyright on the
music the in-house guys write) and there are no cue sheets being filed, I
have to wonder what the financial motivation would be for leaving so much
money "on the table" unclaimed. It would also be the only publishing company
I've ever heard of that DOESN'T file cue sheets and want those publishing
royalties for overseas (very lucrative) performances. Curious.
One can only imagine where the overseas writers royalties are going if any
cue sheets ARE turned in...
Can you provide some names of SCRIPPS shows that use in-house composers -
perhaps some of our overseas members can do some digging and assist with
this?
