I'd like to weigh in briefly, and admit that I wanted to drop the F-Bomb on Marinho as well, because I knew that many of our gifted and talented "artists" on this list, still don't really "get it" when it comes to including text in your reply, and hence, I've had to repeatedly scroll through that stupid message for over a week now. It may have only cost me less than 30 minutes, but that was my 30 minutes of my life and I find that unacceptable. Every human's time is valuable.
I come to this list to find information on the business side that I can find nowhere else. I rely (relied) on Les and Doug, and everyone else to give valuable insight based on their real life PRO experiences both positive and negative. Frankly, I couldn't give a hoot about discussing the "artistic" side of things as I, like all of you, have a very personal perception of what constitutes art and artists, and I have found that my views in this area seem to generate overly emotional responses. I don't mind those discussions though, as I can always skip over them, as on is free to skip over ASCAP subjects.
I'm curious at the (over)reaction to JohnB's f-bomb though. Seems a little like the Ladies Tolerance League, but hey, maybe I'm a little crude.
It would be nice if we could show a little more restraint in the area of "including the previous text in the reply."
