[Fmpro] Vienna Special Edition, Appassionata Strings

Hi all,

I've got the Vienna Instruments Special Edition and I'm wondering
about the Appassionata Strings. I've never actually played with
them, as I seem to have lost the original USB dongle that had the 30
day license. I've been using the Vienna for most instruments, but for
more creamy sounding, lush strings my best bet seems to be my
Miroslav Philharmonik stuff. It's all ready placed spatially on the
stage. I've attempted to get the same results with the included
strings in the Vienna Inst. Special Edition, but I can't seem to make
it happen. It's my understanding that that's why the Appassionata
Strings were created. The online demos sound really nice to me, so I
was wondering if anyone had experience with them. I can "upgrade" my
Special Edition that currently sit locked and out of reach(crap !) on
my hard drive. I just want to be able to pull up a creamy, lush, tear-
jerker string section without having to be a mixing guru. And yes, I
was there when the Yamaha DX7 first came out, so I really do
appreciate the new technology (in case I sound spoiled). Anyone
remember Midi Verb? Roland TR-505?

Thoughts? Any other strings compete?

Thank you!
