You must be joking. JW has written many groundbreaking scores and  
expressivity is one of his hallmarks. You need to acquaint yourself  
with his body of work. You are correct about Webber being the prince  
of schlock though. I met him some years ago- he was as aloof and  
unpleasant as his is music is derivative and technically impaired.
